<p>In the United States of America, there are few things more important than body weight. I know that that sounds glib or trite, even superficial, but it is simply true. Currently, there is an obesity problem of epidemic proportions in the United States that endangering the health of millions of people in the United States. Even if you are not clinically obese, the odds are that you are concerned about your body weight because American culture is borderline obsessed with body image and weight. So, whether you are doing it for your appearance or your health, you probably want to lose weight now. Here are some of my tips and thoughts on how to lose weight now.</p>
<p>The key to lose weight now lies in understanding how weight loss &#8211; and weight gain- occur. Body weight is almost simply about a balance of calories. Simply put, your body consumes calories from the food that you eat and the variety of activities that you do during your day burns calories. If you eat more calories than the amount of calories you burn, you will gain weight. If you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight now. It really is that simple.</p>
<p>So, if you want to lose weight now you have only two choices. You can either eat less calories or you can burn more calories. That is it. Any pill or treatment you take up will only attempt to replace these two options, in a dangerous way that is expensive and riddled with negative side effects. The only side effects in controlling the amount of calories that you eat and calories that you burn is that you will be a healthier person.</p>
<p>It is important to note that eating less calories is not the same as eating less food. You would be surprised by the number of changes or swaps you can make in your diet that would allow you to eat essentially the same thing.
